You know, I saw that “cpio not found” message in the log, and I saw elsewhere that CrashPlan changed the archive format of their upgrade file to cpio for 4.7.0 (would love to know the rationale behind that). Any chance you can push the latest CrashPlan droboports changes up to GitHub so we can learn from your adjustments? Reverse engineering and forward-porting is no fun I know from first-hand experience. I just did the same thing, and CrashPlan is back running again. Obviously, you’ll need ssh access to the Drobo for this, but that’s all detailed on the DroboPorts site. If I try the Admin username and password on the Drobo no joy as well. If I use an existing account and try my CrashPaln Business Pro email address and password it doesn’t work. If I try to create a new account I get System error: If problem persists-install CrashPlan PRO. However when I start-up CrashPlan PRO it is asking about setting up a new account or using an existing account. I have made the changes in ProgramData and conf on the Windows desktop machine. Make sure that and are configured correctly. I cannot connect to CrashPlan on the Drobo.
